About Honour the Work STEAMS Kits
We endeavor to supply 500 classrooms and over 21,000 students across BC with access to the Honour the Work curriculum in 2026, with the ultimate goal of getting STEAMS (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics & Skills) kits into everyone classroom in the province. Our initial fundraising target to support these goals is $550,000.
STEAMS Kits introduce kindergarten to grade 5 students to skilled trades, which:
- are turnkey. Teacher lesson plans, student handouts, and electronic links to resources are provided.
- are hands on. A class set of building materials are included.
- include diverse children’s books.
