BC Hydro is seeking Proposals to meet its ongoing needs for penstock and other assets recoating services. To prepare the contractor community for this upcoming RFP, BC Hydro anticipates hosting an informational meeting on January 22nd, 2026. Notice of the informational meeting will be posted to BC Bid soon after the RFP posting.

This project will address slope erosion, insufficient road width and increase the safety of 2 sites on Westside Road near Pine Point. Work consists of, but is not limited to, mobilization, traffic management, slope stabilization with micropile walls, paving, and revegetation seeding.

Graded Aggregate Seal Coat - Fort George Area Side Roads Scope of work includes: Mobilization, Quality Management, Signing, Traffic Management and Control, Survey Layout, Crack Sealing, Place 25mm WGB Prior to Pulverizing, Pulverizing, Class "C" Graded Aggregate Seal Coat, Site Cleanup.

Crack Sealing and Graded Aggregate Seal Coat (Class C) on Highway 27 from the junction of Highway 16 to the Stuart River Bridge and Crack Sealing and Seal Coating on Sowchea area side roads.

To ensure timely spring tree planting access, resource roads and other associated access structures throughout the 100 Mile House District require plowing for road surfaces to dry and set. In order to complete the work, a Caterpillar dozer and/or grader may be necessary.

Water transmission main upgrades along Stellar Drive and Main Street/Chute Lake Road to increase system capacity from the Cedar Creek transmission system. In addition to the transmission main installation all associated earthworks, utility coordination, testing, commissioning, surface restoration, shall be completed to support the planned system capacity increase. The goal of the upgrades is to support a system capacity of 70 ML/d with provisions for an ultimate capacity of 95 ML/d.

The City of Prince Rupert has committed to upgrading and replacing the most aged water and sewer infrastructure within the community. As the infrastructure reaches the end of its service life, the City, supported by the Owner’s Engineers, has developed a set of priority scopes of work for the Big Infrastructure Gap Project to replace a significant portion of the community’s water distribution system and replace or separate the community’s sewer and storm systems. Phase 1 of the Project is currently ongoing.

The City of Coquitlam invites tenders for Contract 73054 - Parkway and Panorama Sidewalk Rehabilitation, generally consisting of the following, but not limited to:

Approx. 2300 sq.m of concrete sidewalk removal and replacement;
Approx. 400 lin.m of concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement;
Approx. 130 tonnes of asphalt paving;
Minor storm works;
Streetlighting works;
Other miscellaneous and incidental works as described in the Contract Documents.

The City of Kelowna is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the construction of an Active Transportation Corridor (ATC) and related municipal utility upgrades. Located in the downtown core between Leon Avenue and Cawston Avenue, the Bertram ATC project includes the construction of a full-width urban road cross-section, an ATC pathway, watermain and service replacements, sanitary sewer and service upgrades, drainage infrastructure, street lighting, traffic signal upgrades, boulevard landscaping, and associated irrigation.

The City of Port Moody requests proposals from a qualified Contractor for roadway, pedestrian, and cyclist infrastructure improvements along Moray Street between Brookmount Avenue and St. Johns Street.

The District of Sparwood invites qualified contractors to submit bids for the District of Sparwood 2026 Paving Program.

Repairs of the Johnston Bridge, including structural steel repairs, all light bracing and bearings replacement, jacking and temporary support, removal of abandoned utilities, removal of unused utility ducting and tray, concrete repairs, steel and concrete coatings including sand-blasting, straightening and overcoating of railings, replacement of walkway deck panels, replacement of light standards, and replacement of a watermain
on the bridge and the approaches.

City of Kelowna is seeking a qualified contractor to complete road and streetscape improvements along Lakeshore Road between Lanfranco Road and Richter Street, with additional pavement marking upgrades along Lanfranco Road. The scope of work includes installation of curbs, sidewalks, medians and islands, transit stop improvements including a rapid flashing beacon crosswalk, realignment of approximately 55 m of watermain, drainage upgrades, street lighting, and landscaping and irrigation works, all delivered under an MMCD 2019 unit price contract.

The Contract is generally for the following work:

Supply and installation of approximately 1,050 m of 200 mm diameter HDPE watermain;
Supply and installation of approximately 75 m of 100 mm diameter HDPE watermain;
Supply and installation of approximately 4 hydrant assemblies;
Supply and installation of approximately 18 water service connection laterals;
Supply and installation of approximately 2 combination air valve assemblies;
Supply and installation of meters at each water service connection; and
Supply and installation of one bulk water fill station.

Early Contractor Engagement and possible construction of YLW Airport Way roundabout and Al Horning Way

The Owner invites tenders for: Construction of the Main Street Watermain Upgrades (Phase 1) located along Main Street between Fourth Street and Third Street in Tofino, BC. The work is to be completed before June 1, 2026. A pre-tender meeting will be held on February 11, 2026 at 11:00AM at the intersection of Main Street and Fourth Street. The pre-tender meeting will not be mandatory however the tenderers, either personally or through a representative, are responsible to examine the Place of Work before submitting a tender.

The restoration of concrete, installation of new access hatch, and replacement of existing access platform and sluice gates for the Harriet Siphon Inlet Chamber along the boundaries of the municipalities of the City
of Victoria and District of Saanich. This will include all material supply, installation, labour and equipment to rehabilitate and upgrade the existing chamber, including provision of temporary by-pass pumps and piping, as well as preparation of necessary shop drawings and as-constructed drawings.

Early Contractor Engagement and possible construction of YLW Airport Way roundabout and Al Horning Way

The District of Invermere is seeking qualified contractors to complete upgrades to the Paddy Ryan Middle Dam, including a new precast box‑culvert spillway, dam crest raising, precast retaining walls, culvert sleeving, riprap, fencing, signage, and environmental protection works. The project improves dam safety, spillway capacity, and environmental performance, and will interest contractors experienced in heavy civil, water infrastructure, and in‑stream construction.

The City of Maple Ridge invites Tenders from general contractors prequalified through 25-094 Reservoir Upgrades Prequalification for the 270A St Pump Station – Reservoir Expansion Project. The work generally consists of, but is not limited to the supply and installation of a new (second) 1.6 ML glass-fused-to-steel bolted potable water storage tank and associated water main to connect to existing valve chambers on site; installation of a new PRV and flow metering chamber in a pre-cast concrete vault and associated water main and tie-ins; installation of a new tank drain box manhole with an HS-20 rated access hatch and associated stormwater piping and valves; demolition of an existing bolted steel reservoir; demolition of an old decommissioned pump station building and standby generator; site grading; startup, testing and commissioning of new and relocated equipment and all incidental and related work to complete the project.

City of Prince George (the “City) is seeking the services of a qualified asphalt producer and installer who can demonstrate the appropriate quality and experience needed to complete portions of the comprehensive asphalt concrete rehabilitation project. In addition, the Proponent is to prepare a proposal that meets the minimum requirements and may choose to include goods, services or terms that exceed the minimum requirements.
