The purpose of this RFQ is to invite interested parties to indicate their interest in, and their qualifications for, one component of the Fraser River Tunnel Project referred to as GC-1 – Immersed Tube Tunnel, South Cut & Cover, South Ramp.

Through the process described in this RFQ, the Province anticipates identifying up to three Respondents to be invited to participate in the next phase of this Competitive Selection Process, the Request for Proposals phase.

The purpose of the Competitive Selection Process is to identify a qualified entity with whom the Province may enter into a target price construction contract to construct the Project, in accordance with the Province’s design.

Through the process described in this RFQ, the Province anticipates identifying up to two Respondents to be invited to participate in the next phase of this Competitive Selection Process, the RFP phase.

The purpose of the Competitive Selection Process is to identify a qualified entity with whom the Province may enter into a target price construction contract to construct the Project, in accordance with the Province’s design.

Roadway construction for the expansion and reconstruction of Highway 1 to accommodate new High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes, Bus on Shoulder (BOS) lanes, and highway widening from 2 lanes to 4 lanes from Townline Road to Grant Street; Peardonville Underpass Replacement and Deck Modifications; Livingstone Avenue realignment; utility network upgrades; and associated works.

Works include construction of new 68.6 m single-span bridge, including but not limited to survey layout, traffic management, quality management, supply and install bridges and foundation components, construction/removal of a temp detour bridge, removal and disposal of existing structures, haul and place granular materials, electrical, approach grade construction, supply/place asphalt pavement, roadside development including hydraulic seeding & site restoration, and signage/layout of permanent & temporary road marking

Golden Ears Park - Viking Creek Culvert Replacement.

Culvert replacement and associated riprap armouring and channel re-grading at one culvert location. Located at: Golden Ears Park Campground Road (to Ticket Booth).

The Cunningham Forest Service Road is a vital access route for industrial traffic, the public, and the First Nations community Yekooche. The forest service road will be realigned between 61.8 km and 63.2 km to enhance safety and accessibility

The purpose of this contract is for crack sealing and sealcoating at the Prince George Air Tanker Base. The existing asphalt pavement at the Prince George Air Tanker Base has considerable thermal and age-related cracking. It has exceeded its practical service life (25 years). To extend the life of existing asphalt apron crack sealing and sealcoating is needed.

Installation of one 15.6 m o/o concrete slab girder bridge on the Jackpine Creek FSR at 9.9 km. Service will include the removal and disposal of existing twin CMPs. Service will include loading, transportation and placement of rip rap and completion of all new bridge approach road works. Service will include the restoration of the streambed.

BC Timber Sales Okanagan – Columbia manages approximately 2700km of Forest Service Road (FSR). This contract is to conduct approximately 900km of FSR inspections within the Columbia, Okanagan North and Okanagan South Field Zones of the BC Timber Sales Okanagan-Columbia Business Area.

Contract deliverables will be planned for completion throughout the fiscal year to meet the business area quarterly targets. Projects will be completed concurrently as per the approved work progress plan and schedules.

The proposed contract requires the provision of forest service road construction, reconstruction, maintenance/reactivation, deactivation, and bridge installation services within the Seaward/Tlasta Business Area on northern Vancouver Island. The work is located between Winter Harbour and Holberg on the SJ47 and SJ49 road systems accessed from the S700 Forest Service Road.

The scope of work includes approximately 738 m of new road construction, 2,475 m of road reconstruction, 1,284 m of road maintenance/reactivation, 1,600 of road deactivation, and installation of one 12.2 m all‑steel portable bridge, along with associated drainage, culvert, and signage works. Activities also include site preparation, material placement, brushing, and implementation of environmental protection measures in accordance with project specifications.

Work will be carried out in remote terrain with challenging geotechnical conditions, including areas with a high frequency of landslides, steep grades, and constrained access. The contract requires careful coordination of construction activities within prescribed weather windows and fish windows, particularly for deactivation works and areas subject to rainfall shutdown criteria, with most activities scheduled within the summer dry period to mitigate environmental and safety risks. Equipment working in and around streams are required to use biodegradable hydraulic oil.

The contract will require qualified contractors with appropriate equipment, supervision, and safety programs to complete concurrent work activities while meeting environmental, safety, and operational requirements. Deliverables will be completed in accordance with approved work plans, specifications, and schedules, with all works contributing to safe, sustainable infrastructure development within the BC Timber Sales program.

Deactivation of 9,436 lineal meters of Forest Service Roads within the Sechelt Roberts, Middle Point area and Dakota Watershed including the removal of 18 log structures.

Works will include a comprehensive suite of road deactivation treatments aimed at restoring natural hydrological function and reducing long term environmental risk. Activities will involve the removal of 18 existing log structures and re-establishment of natural drainage patterns through cross ditching and water barres.

Additional treatments will include the removal of all culverts, stream channel reconstruction and armouring at crossings. Disturbed areas will be stabilized using erosion control measures such as grass seeding and placement of woody debris to promote natural revegetation and reduce sediment transport.
The deactivation work is intended to minimize risks to downstream aquatic habitats, protect watershed integrity within the Dakota watershed, and ensure long-term slope and drainage stability while effectively removing vehicle access and reducing maintenance requirements.

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of Kamloops (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Structural Engineering Services for Bridges and Transportation Structures as further described.

The City of Campbell River invites tenders for the Argonaut Bridge Remediation project which includes the following generalized scope of work:
Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, construction, equipment, labour, materials, and related items required for: remediation of the Argonaut bridge located on Quinsam road, spanning the Quinsam River. In general terms, this work will involve the construction of an access tote road, removal of debris and construction of a gabion basket wall to armour the north abutment, as well as deconstruction of the tote road and site restoration.

The City of Kelowna invites proposals from qualified Contractors for the construction of the Hollywood Road Extension from Sexsmith Road to John Hindle Drive. This project includes an upgrade to portions of existing Hollywood Road including signalized intersections at Sexsmith Road and Lougheed Road, roundabouts at Academy Way/Pinto Road, Road A and John Hindle Drive, and intersection improvements at Appaloosa Road and Neaves Road, as well as new construction for portions of the project north of Lougheed Road to John Hindle Drive.
