As part of regulatory permitting requirement for Fir Ave bank stabilization work (Site No. S-CW-01), an area between Middlesbrough and Houston bridges is dedicated to the offsetting requirements need for the Coldwater River aquatic footprint disturbances. Work in this area involves sediment excavation for a side channel, live staking, riparian planting, bridge abutment removal, engineered large woody debris log jams and beaver mitigation efforts.

The objective of this contract is to construct 5.5km’s of new Forest Service Road based on Geometric Road Design’s and field control measures. The road construction involves all phases of road construction including timber cut and removal, end haul, drill and blast rock, placed rock fills and surfacing.

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of Abbotsford (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for City of Abbotsford – Asphalt Resurfacing Program, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).

To clear snow from sidewalks along 101 Avenue from 103 Street to 100 Street and 101 Street from Lane S 101 Ave to 102 Ave within the Hamlet of Lac La Biche. See Appendix B. Additional sidewalks may be included.

The Town of Irricana is planning to repair the asphalt and concrete sidewalks in 7 locations in the Town of Irricana as described in the project scope of work. Most of the locations currently have temporary gravel surface installed. Additionally, 1 location requires lowering an existing curb water stop valve to grade (photo attached in Attachment 1). The contract work will include removal of temporary gravel surface to a depth of 150mm or matching the existing adjacent asphalt or concrete and disposal of asphalt and concrete and disposal of removed material, and replacement with the full-depth amount of material as described in the scope of work section for each location. Landscaped areas disturbed for the placement of concrete forms or other work to be rehabilitated. Provisional work includes excavation of additional gravels and placement of Combigrid geotextile in the event of unsuitable subgrade material. A disposal location for excavated gravel is available at the Town’s Public Works yard.
