The purpose of this RFQ is to invite interested parties to indicate their interest in, and their qualifications for, one component of the Fraser River Tunnel Project referred to as GC-2 – North Cut & Cover, North Ramp.

Through the process described in this RFQ, the Province anticipates identifying up to two Respondents to be invited to participate in the next phase of this Competitive Selection Process, the RFP phase.

The purpose of the Competitive Selection Process is to identify a qualified entity with whom the Province may enter into a target price construction contract to construct the Project, in accordance with the Province’s design.

Works include but not necessarily limited to: Survey layout, traffic management, quality management, Deck joint and installation, guardrail replacement, full and partial depth concrete repairs, stringer and diaphram repairs, Steel bracing installation, substructure concrete repairs, cantilever tie down installation, concrete encasement and ring beam installation, Substructure and stringer end cleaning, demobilization and site cleanup.

Replace failed culvert with permanent bridge. Realign roadway as required.

The Ministry of Environment is seeking a consultant to provide professional engineering and relevant environmental services at Lakelse Lake Park regarding drainage improvements, repairs, and rehabilitation to the existing road and parking systems.

As part of maintenance and upgrades to the Wedeene Forest Service Road (FSR), a new 10m span single lane bridge will be installed to replace an existing wood box culvert and improve the stream crossing

New construction of 1.8 km of new Forest Service Road and adjustment to 1 km of existing Forest Service Road. This is a part of the road upgrades to the Leo FSR. The FSR provides essential access to a First Nations Community.

The Dore FSR is accessed from Highway 16 and provides access to various recreational and industrial sites on the south side of the highway. The existing bridge crosses the Dore River at 2.1 km and was downrated to 0 tonne due to the deteriorating and unstable condition of bridge substructure. The existing structure will be removed and replaced with a longer 36.6 m single lane concrete slab steel girder bridge founded on concrete footings and steel pipes.

Installation of one 15.6 m o/o concrete slab girder bridge on the Jackpine Creek FSR at 9.9 km. Service will include the removal and disposal of existing twin CMPs. Service will include loading, transportation and placement of rip rap and completion of all new bridge approach road works. Service will include the restoration of the streambed.

This bank stabilization project consists of hauling and placing 1910m3 of class 500kg rip rap in order to stabilize and protect the road at 14km Kootenay FSR. The Parsnip West FSR is accessed from the Town of Mackenzie and runs through Heather-Dina Lakes Provincial Park. The previous culvert and existing bridge crosses Dina Creek at 29.6 km and has been impacted by beaver activities and a recent washout event. The existing temporary structure will be removed and replaced with a longer 15 m single lane concrete slab bridge founded on concrete footings and steel pipes.

This is an Operational Services contract on 2km of the Elk River FSR within the Rocky Mountain Forest District. The objective of the works is to provide safe access for Rural Residences. Works will be assigned priority and prescribed by the Ministry Representative.

The proposed contract requires the provision of forest service road construction, reconstruction, maintenance/reactivation, deactivation, and bridge installation services within the Seaward/Tlasta Business Area on northern Vancouver Island. The work is located between Winter Harbour and Holberg on the SJ47 and SJ49 road systems accessed from the S700 Forest Service Road.

The scope of work includes approximately 738 m of new road construction, 2,475 m of road reconstruction, 1,284 m of road maintenance/reactivation, 1,600 of road deactivation, and installation of one 12.2 m all‑steel portable bridge, along with associated drainage, culvert, and signage works. Activities also include site preparation, material placement, brushing, and implementation of environmental protection measures in accordance with project specifications.

Work will be carried out in remote terrain with challenging geotechnical conditions, including areas with a high frequency of landslides, steep grades, and constrained access. The contract requires careful coordination of construction activities within prescribed weather windows and fish windows, particularly for deactivation works and areas subject to rainfall shutdown criteria, with most activities scheduled within the summer dry period to mitigate environmental and safety risks. Equipment working in and around streams are required to use biodegradable hydraulic oil.

The contract will require qualified contractors with appropriate equipment, supervision, and safety programs to complete concurrent work activities while meeting environmental, safety, and operational requirements. Deliverables will be completed in accordance with approved work plans, specifications, and schedules, with all works contributing to safe, sustainable infrastructure development within the BC Timber Sales program.

This contract is with BC Timber Sales in the Kootenay Business Area, Boundary Field Team. The project consists of approximately 0.8 km of FSR NEW construction and 5.5 km of FSR Maintenance. The project also consists of a bridge removal, and rehabilitation of a landslide. NEW CONSTRUCTION involves all phases of road construction including timber cutting and removal, embankment construction, drill/blast rock, and surfacing. FSR MAINTENANCE involves all elements of road maintenance plus re-establishment of road prism, re-establishment of ditch lines, culvert inlet cleanout, and mechanical brushing.

Deactivation of 9,436 lineal meters of Forest Service Roads within the Sechelt Roberts, Middle Point area and Dakota Watershed including the removal of 18 log structures.

Works will include a comprehensive suite of road deactivation treatments aimed at restoring natural hydrological function and reducing long term environmental risk. Activities will involve the removal of 18 existing log structures and re-establishment of natural drainage patterns through cross ditching and water barres.

Additional treatments will include the removal of all culverts, stream channel reconstruction and armouring at crossings. Disturbed areas will be stabilized using erosion control measures such as grass seeding and placement of woody debris to promote natural revegetation and reduce sediment transport.
The deactivation work is intended to minimize risks to downstream aquatic habitats, protect watershed integrity within the Dakota watershed, and ensure long-term slope and drainage stability while effectively removing vehicle access and reducing maintenance requirements.

BC Timber Sales has legal obligations to maintain access infrastructure to meet all FRPA and SAFETY (WCB/BC Safe Company) requirements. The East Kootenay Field Team (EKFT) manages hundreds of km’s of resource roads annually. BCTS will work with the Contractor to ensure that road maintenance standards are achieved. This is a solicitation for the Maintenance upgrade of Phillips Ck FSR and the installations of a 15m All Steel Portable Bridge over Rabbit Ck.

Phillips Ck FSR is a 20.68km FSR which requires upgrading to meet safe hauling standards. Works include Brushing, Grading, Ditching, and sections of road widening.

City of Prince George (the “City”) invites bids from qualified and experienced Contractors to remove and dispose of the existing creek crossing structure, and design, supply and install a new bridge on Hardy Road, over McMillan Creek.

The District of Clearwater invites tenders for the supply of Rip Rap for the reconstruction of the bank protection at the Old North Thompson Highway Bridge project in Clearwater. A summary of specific work items includes the following (approx. quantities):

The City of Abbotsford is undertaking two separate, but complementary, procurement processes for asphalt paving services.

RFP 1220-2026-4177 - Asphalt Resurfacing Program is intended to establish one Primary Contractor and one Secondary Contractor to support the City's annual asphalt resurfacing program and related Operations Department paving requirements.

RFSQ 1220-2026-4212 - Asphalt Paving Services – Various City Departments – Roster is intended to establish a roster of prequalified contractors that may be used by multiple City departments for individual assignments with a contract value of up to $500,000.

Interested proponents may submit responses to either or both opportunities. Where responding to both, proponents may find that much of the information prepared for one submission can be leveraged for the other, subject to addressing the specific requirements of each procurement.
