The Central Coast Regional District is inviting tenders from qualified contractors for the Bella Coola Airport Airfield Pavement Rehabilitation Project. The work includes full-depth asphalt pavement reconstruction on Runway 05-23, Taxiway A and Apron I, pavement line marking, site preparation, material testing and site restoration.

Works include but not necessarily limited to: Survey layout, traffic management, quality management, Deck joint and installation, guardrail replacement, full and partial depth concrete repairs, stringer and diaphram repairs, Steel bracing installation, substructure concrete repairs, cantilever tie down installation, concrete encasement and ring beam installation, Substructure and stringer end cleaning, demobilization and site cleanup.

Foundation excavation, abutment modification, pier column bearing restrainers, pier column strengthening, pier diaphragms, concrete repairs, concrete overlay, paving.

Replace failed culvert with permanent bridge. Realign roadway as required.

The Project involves the replacement of the existing culvert with two CSP pipes (sized 2000 mm and 2400 mm). The scope consists of culvert replacement and channel construction, grading works, asphalt paving, sign installation, site restoration, and Traffic Management, Environmental Management, and Quality Management.

Grading approximately 12.5 km of the Lachmach FSR 8846.01 from 0.0 km to 12.5 km within the Coast Mountains Forest District.

This is an Operational Services contract on 2km of the Elk River FSR within the Rocky Mountain Forest District. The objective of the works is to provide safe access for Rural Residences. Works will be assigned priority and prescribed by the Ministry Representative.

Construction and repair work at 59km on the Driftwood. The Nation River has moved from its banks into our road side ditch and has scoured out the bridge. Rock and concrete erosion mats will be used to protect the road as well as hold the river back in its banks.

Road Realignment and Construction of 2 kilometers of road on Canal Main FSR between 27- 29 km. Improve the alignment of the road, leading to a safer road for all users.

This proposed contract is for constructing 1.6km of the Peacock West Forest Service Road, just South of Houston, BC., within the BC Timber Sales Babine Business Area. This work involves RoW Clearing, Site preparation, Roadway and Drainage Excavation and Culvert installations. Between stations 0+270 to 0+470 the road will be constructed on the top of a historic slump – a Geomorphologist (P. Geo.), provided by BCTS, may be on site during this phase of construction. Rock will be required for armouring inlet/outlet of culverts for scour protection as identified in the Culvert table. Rock sources have been identified outside of the worksite, and there may be rock found during construction of the road. BCTS will provide blasting of rock.

This is a Major Works contract offered for the performance of 4.094km road construction and 0.649km road upgrade of Forest Service Road (FSR) within the Barton operating area of the South Zone Field team, BCTS Okanagan-Columbia Business Area.

BC Timber Sales, Babine Business Area is proposing a contract that requires the construction of approximately 1.35 km of Forest Service Road, which includes the installation of a 6.096m bridge (steel girder with timber deck panels). The work is located off the Maxan West FSR at approximately 12km, within the Lakes Timber Supply Area, Southwest of Burns Lake, BC.

The contract will require a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) to be the Crossing Professional of Record (POR) to sign off the Bridge Installation.

This is a Major Works contract offered for performance of Forest Service Road structure maintenance. The Columbia Zone engineering programs maintain, build, and deactivate a wide variety of Forest Service Roads to facilitate BCTS Okanagan-Columbia works and projects. The proposed contract will facilitate the maintenance and upgrade of existing bridge structures throughout the Columbia Zone area to restore industrial access to future development areas.

See maps for the location of all potential locations for structure maintenance work proposed under this contract. Structure and surface maintenance works for approximately 10 BC Timber Sales bridges and major structures have been identified.

To support the City’s ongoing construction, maintenance, utility, and infrastructure programs, the Contractor shall provide asphalt cutting & coring services on an as-needed basis at various locations throughout the City. The Contractor shall furnish all labour, supervision, equipment, materials, traffic control, transportation, and other resources necessary to safely and efficiently perform the Services. The Services may be required on a scheduled, urgent, or emergency basis and shall be delivered in accordance with the requirements outlined herein.

• 5,000 meters of concrete
• 600 curb cuts

The Village of Harrison Hot Springs (the Village) is seeking proposals from qualified proponents for the rehabilitation and repaving of the west side of Naismith Avenue. The project is intended to improve the condition of the existing roadway.

The City of Port Moody requests proposals for a qualified contractor to complete approximately 750m of road rehabilitation, curb and gutter, asphalt MUP, landscaping, pavement marking and signage, manholes, catchbasins, lawn basins, approximately 170m of storm main, culvert and headwalls, other roadside drainage improvement and CIPP lining of existing sanitary main along Ioco Road from First Avenue to April Road.
