92448 Texada Island / Blubber Bay Life Extension

This Request for Proposal identifies a business opportunity for the successful Proponent to provide marine construction services for the berth structures at the Blubber Bay ferry terminal (Texada Island).

This Request for Proposal invites qualified Proponents to submit proposals for the provision of services related to the demolition and removal of existing components, the installation of new components, and the refurbishment of existing components to support the life extension of the Berth 1/2 Foot Passenger Skywalk at the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal.

50.9 Lane km of Conventional paving and overlay on Prespatou Rd, Altona Rd, Traid Rd, 85th Ave, Old Fort Road Portions of South Tailor hill and Blueberry Reserve Road.

The general nature of the work to be carried out under the contract consists of: Replacement of all deck joint compression seals; concrete encapsulation of the approach expansion bent caps; repair deteriorated steel truss members; installation of drain troughs below expansion finger joints; modifications to the truss deck drains; steel recoating of deteriorated steel elements.

The project includes the design and construction of a northbound left-turn lane at the Highway 97/Olson Road intersection, widening to support the southbound right-turn movement, culvert replacement 700 metres west of the Highway 97 / Olson Road intersection and resurfacing of 7.8 km of Olson Road. Utilities, private property access, and culverts that are impacted will be relocated or adjusted as required. Brushing of Olson Road will be completed separately.

Supply and installation of continuous surface or inlaid durable pavement markings/Wet Night High Visibility Traffic Markings.

Replacement of 8 end-of-service-life structures with new structures and development of 1 rock quarry on the Rennell Sound FSR 8229.02 on Haida Gwaii.

The South Island Forest District Engineering Team invites qualified contractors to bid on a tender to design, fabricate, and install one (1) 30.48m x 4.88m L100 Concrete/Steel Composite Bridge on Steel Towers and Concrete Footings, with flared panels on one end, with structure number SI-5600 at 6.3 km on Marion Creek FSR.
The successful bidder will be required to provide references proving they meet the qualifications as outlined in schedule C and D.
The successful bidder will be assigned as the Designated Prime Contractor and must be capable of fulfilling that role.

This RFP is issued by BC Hydro to obtain Proposals from parties wishing to provide the Forest Road Construction and Maintenance Services, as needed to help build and maintain BC Hydro’s system across the province of British Columbia. The Work generally includes the following categories: main roadworks, water crossing installations, track road, equipment pad, and pole liner Installations, and helicopter pad installations.

1.8 km of reactivation, consisting of light brushing is required before the start of construction. Subgrade construction, two culvert installs, and surfacing of the Kitnayakwa FSR (Spur 1) is for 280 m from the start of construction. The construction is necessary to necessitate the installation of the supplied 18 m bridge. No further construction is anticipated past 0+280 m.

Road access to the start of work is on a rough road with drive time of approximately 2 hours from camp to back. The project primarily involves the deactivation of approximately 26km of road. This includes brushing, ditching, culvert and bridge maintenance, and signage. Road maintenance, if required is limited to the extent required to facilitate road deactivation activities. The contractor is responsible for maintaining roads to facilitate safe access.

The proposed contract is for road repair services on BCTS Forest Service Roads in the Chilliwack and Sea to Sky Forest Districts on an as and when needed basis. Locations of work projects and timing to be established by the Ministry and will be based on Ministry priorities. For the purpose of this contract, all pertinent costs will be calculated from the marshalling point identified as the BC Timber Sales Chilliwack Office.
The Works will include but are not limited to:

• Full road construction and repair.
• Culvert installation, repair and replacement, catchment basin area clean up of inlet and/or outlet armoring.
• Ditch line construction, clean up and re-establishment.
• Brush removal and disposal.
• Road running surface maintenance, spot surfacing, crowning, re-shape/subgrade road running surface.
• End haul of gravel, rock, fill, or waste materials.
• Construction of water bars, cross ditches, swale, and fords.
• Emergency road repairs, slide clean up, road prism reconstruction as a result of road washouts.

• Minor bridge repairs.

• Danger tree removal.
• Pickup and delivery of materials supplied by the Ministry.

The intent of this Invitation to Tender is to solicit competitive unit‑price tenders for pulverizing, paving, asphalt patching, and associated shoulder construction at various locations within the District of Sicamous, British Columbia.

City of Delta invites bids for the construction of a new sidewalk in the 112A Street and 88A Avenue neighbourhood.

This notice of Request for Proposals is issued by The Corporation of the City of Vernon in British Columbia, Canada to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of 39 Avenue Culvert Rehabilitation, as further described in the RFP documents.

The rehabilitation of a failing twin 1850mm CSP culvert at the intersection between 39th Avenue and Lower BX Creek. The rehabilitation will include the installation of a 1600mm HDPE slipline within the existing culverts, scour protection and restoration of the work site.
