BC Hydro is seeking Proposals to meet its ongoing needs for penstock and other assets recoating services. To prepare the contractor community for this upcoming RFP, BC Hydro anticipates hosting an informational meeting on January 22nd, 2026. Notice of the informational meeting will be posted to BC Bid soon after the RFP posting.

Roadway construction for the expansion and reconstruction of Highway 1 to accommodate new High Occupancy Vehicles (HOV) lanes, Bus on Shoulder (BOS) lanes, Auxiliary lanes and extension of the existing westbound truck climbing lane from Highway 11 to McCallum Road; Clearbrook Underpass No. 1551 Deck Modifications and Seismic Upgrade; McCallum Underpass No. 1552 Westbound Structure Replacement and Deck Modifications; Multi-Use Pathway (MUP); and associated works.

Full-width conventional paving on Highway 8 between Petit Creek Road – Spences Bridge as well as Aberdeen Road (74 Lane Kms). Scope of work includes milling, top lift paving, shouldering and concrete barrier removal and replacement.

Hot-In-Place Recycling Hwy 1 Crazy Creek to Revelstoke Intermittent, Scope of work includes: Mobilization, Quality Management, Signing, Traffic Management and Control, Survey Layout, Aggregate Production, Asphalt Mix Design, Hot-in-Place Recycling, Temporary Pavement Marking, Joint Sealing and Site Cleanup.

Installation of a new 21.6 m long single-span bridge with pre-stressed twin cell concrete box stringers, precast concrete abutments founded on steel pipe piles and associated riprap works and thrie beam barrier. Channel widening, riprap protection on both creek banks and fish habitat enhancement works, including rock riffles. Construction of 340 m of paved surface roadway, culvert works, fencing, signage, driveway, and landscaping/seeding.

The scope of the work includes 40 m3 of shotcrete application, 255 m of rockbolt installation, and the installation of a 3 post rockfall attenuator with primary and secondary mesh.

This project will address slope erosion, insufficient road width and increase the safety of 2 sites on Westside Road near Pine Point. Work consists of, but is not limited to, mobilization, traffic management, slope stabilization with micropile walls, paving, and revegetation seeding.

To ensure timely spring tree planting access, resource roads and other associated access structures throughout the 100 Mile House District require plowing for road surfaces to dry and set. In order to complete the work, a Caterpillar dozer and/or grader may be necessary.

The District of West Vancouver invites Tenders for the 2025 Sewer Rehabilitation Program.

The Scope of Work for this Project will include asphalt paving of public road ways, road base and subbase construction, concrete curb and gutter removal and replace, manhole, catch basin and valve box adjustments, line marking, potential geotechnical works pertaining to roadways, fill placement, work around traffic signals and loop replacement, catch basin installation and storm main tie ins.

The work to be undertaken generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following:
Full road reconstruction, sanitary main cured in place lining, watermain replacement, and storm sewer installation of Peace River Road from 96 St to 112 Ave.

The District of Fort St. James is seeking proposals from qualified Proponents to re-pave approximately 2500 linear meters of Municipal streets. All paving must be completed between August 1, 2026 and August 31, 2026. Paving will consist of paving a 50mm layer on top of existing asphalt, tie ins to driveways and intersections, grinding as required and shouldering of all streets paved must be included in bids. Water service lines are being
replaced at each address shown on drawings within Appendix C, but asphalt is only being removed for the excavation site where it intersects the street, and not the entire street surface.

The Corporation of the District of North Vancouver (the Owner) invites tenders for ITT-004-26, Dollarton Hwy Sidewalk (North): 3168 Driveway – 3226 Driveway.

The Work generally includes but is not limited to; approximately 160m of road widening, surface milling, supply and placement of 175m of concrete MUP, supply and placement of 720 metres of asphalt paving from 81 Avenue to 84 Avenue, crack sealing, full-depth asphalt repair, installation of concrete median curbs, stamped median infill, landscaping, including ground cover, trees and irrigation system, bike lane reinforced extruded buffer curb, catchbasins c/w leads, growing medium, sodding, and eradication and application of thermoplastic pavement markings, third-party utility and communication ductwork with related infrastructure, traffic signal modification, streetlighting, private pole relocation; and approximately 20m extension of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and watermain.

The City of Coquitlam invites tenders for Contract 89044 – 2026 Watermain Replacements generally consisting of the following, but not limited to:

Approximately 415m of 150mm diameter ductile iron watermain, 550m of 200mm diameter ductile iron watermain, water service connections complete with meter setters, four hydrant assemblies; and,
Other miscellaneous and incidental works as contained in the Contract Documents.

The City of Coquitlam invites tenders for Contract 74770-2 - Pipeline Rd and David Ave Improvements, generally consisting of the following, but not limited to:

Asphalt Milling - approx. 19,500 square meters;
Asphalt Paving - approx. 6100 tonnes;
Concrete Curb & Gutter construction - approx. 1150 meters;
Concrete flatwork construction - approx. 1200 square meters;
Approx. 65m of storm main installation and other minor storm works;
Traffic signal and Street Lighting Works;
Pavement Markings, tree planting, irrigation; and
Other miscellaneous and incidental works as described in the Contract Documents.

This is an Invitation to Tender for the road reconstruction of approximately 950 lm of 8m wide road in Minnaker Subdivision including new road structure c/w owner supplied granular materials, new 1.5m wide concrete sidewalk, curb & gutter, and 75mm thick asphalt. Work also includes various locations of asphalt patching (500m2), overlays (50mm thickness - 3000 m2), and associated boulevard restoration.

Water transmission main upgrades along Stellar Drive and Main Street/Chute Lake Road to increase system capacity from the Cedar Creek transmission system. In addition to the transmission main installation all associated earthworks, utility coordination, testing, commissioning, surface restoration, shall be completed to support the planned system capacity increase. The goal of the upgrades is to support a system capacity of 70 ML/d with provisions for an ultimate capacity of 95 ML/d.

The City of Prince Rupert has committed to upgrading and replacing the most aged water and sewer infrastructure within the community. As the infrastructure reaches the end of its service life, the City, supported by the Owner’s Engineers, has developed a set of priority scopes of work for the Big Infrastructure Gap Project to replace a significant portion of the community’s water distribution system and replace or separate the community’s sewer and storm systems. Phase 1 of the Project is currently ongoing.

The City of Kelowna is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the construction of an Active Transportation Corridor (ATC) and related municipal utility upgrades. Located in the downtown core between Leon Avenue and Cawston Avenue, the Bertram ATC project includes the construction of a full-width urban road cross-section, an ATC pathway, watermain and service replacements, sanitary sewer and service upgrades, drainage infrastructure, street lighting, traffic signal upgrades, boulevard landscaping, and associated irrigation.

The City of Port Moody requests proposals from a qualified Contractor for roadway, pedestrian, and cyclist infrastructure improvements along Moray Street between Brookmount Avenue and St. Johns Street.

The City of North Vancouver invites submissions to this Request for Qualifications for interested firms that can provide construction site Asphalt Cutting and Coring Services on an “as and when needed and when requested” basis. Contractors should be able to demonstrate experience on successful past and current projects.
