BC Hydro has a project to conduct the civil work for 34 end of life wooden transmission structures on 1L251. This Circuit runs from Nicola Substation to Princeton, the work will be conducted from Mile 0 to 45. The work that will be required for this project is upgrading the completed as per the road prescriptions (spot seeding will be required in the spring as well). Please see attached documents G T08 00506 Main and Track for BC Hydro track requirements along with attachment Pad dimensions for Typical Crane Pad layout for Live line replacement. The contractor will be responsible for completing the grounding, please see attached grounding standards see standard G T08 00718 001. A mandatory site visit will be hosted by BC Hydro on November 23, 2023 10:00 am (PST) to review the sites. It is mandatory for Contractors to attend. Contractors who do not attend the site visit will not be able to provide a Tender.
