Hwy 19 - Resurfacing by Mill and Fill within pre-disturbed road base. Resurfacing involves 60mm milling with an additional 80mm for payment repairs. Side Roads - pulverization to break apart existing asphalt, with aggregate added on top of existing road grade, followed by a 125 mm of new asphalt overlay. Paving a maximum consistent width given the current available road prism up to 1.5 m shoulders where possible.

Removal of slide material, installation of riprap bank armoring, construction of a reinforced soil slope wall, to establish a more resilient roadway alignment which improves long-term stability. This is the second and final phase of construction following the completion of the in-stream work which will conclude in March of 2026.

Remove deteriorated concrete surface of hammer heads, clean and replace deteriorated reinforcement, attach galvanic strip anodes to the rebars to mitigate corrosion, reinstate the hammer head concrete surface. Remove deteriorated concrete from the two pier columns, clean existing reinforcement and install new reinforcing bars dowelled in the new concrete, attach continuous vertical galvanic strip anodes to the rebars and install new concrete overbuild.

The general nature of the work to be carried out under the contract consists of: Replacement of all deck joint compression seals; concrete encapsulation of the approach expansion bent caps; repair deteriorated steel truss members; installation of drain troughs below expansion finger joints; modifications to the truss deck drains; steel recoating of deteriorated steel elements.

The project includes the design and construction of a northbound left-turn lane at the Highway 97/Olson Road intersection, widening to support the southbound right-turn movement, culvert replacement 700 metres west of the Highway 97 / Olson Road intersection and resurfacing of 7.8 km of Olson Road. Utilities, private property access, and culverts that are impacted will be relocated or adjusted as required. Brushing of Olson Road will be completed separately.

The Airport Authority is undertaking progressive upgrades to the Sea Island (SI) perimeter dike to accommodate sea level rise due to climate change. The segment scheduled for upgrading in 2026 is located primarily within the Sea Island Conservation Area (SICA) East, extending approximately 2.5 km along the northeastern shoreline of SI from McDonald Road to Grauer Road. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for seeking a General Contractor (GC) to complete the main scope of this project – Phase 2 Dike Construction. Prior to Phase 2, Phase 1 Vegetation Clearing has been completed by early March 2026.

This project consists of installation of one 30.48 m steel girder superstructure, with composite concrete deck, on driven steel pipe pile foundation (left abutment) and cast in place abutment on right abutment on the Bush Forest Service Road. Service will include the removal of the existing 13.3m bridge on timber piles.(including transporting and unloading steel to ministry yard in Revelstoke and disposing of all timber at an approved facility). This includes the development, supply and placement of rip rap and completion of all new bridge approach road works.

This project consists of the installation of a 18.288m long 4.876m wide steel girder / composite deck bridge on steel pipe towers and pre-cast concrete spread footings. Service will include the removal of an 18m long all-steel portable with timber decking, to be delivered back to the Knutsford Forestry Yard in Kamloops. Services will also include all road work, including ditch lines, and sumps to be installed as per the K1782 Maka-Dewdney Design.road works. This includes transportation of the temporary bridge, currently installed (including loading and unloading), from the site to the ministry yard Kamloops, BC (Knutsford yard).From Merritt head southwest on BC-5 for approx. 54KM take exit 250 Juliet Creek, take a left and continue until you come to a stop sign, turn right here and you will begin up Juliet FSR. You will travel for 0.5KM and take a right onto Bottletop FSR. Continue on Bottletop until it changes to the Murray FSR, continue on the Murray FSR until the 18KM junction called Maka, turn left here and travel for 1.5KM. At 1.5Km you will then take a right onto the Maka-Dewdney, travel for 11.5Km to the site.

This RFP is issued by BC Hydro to obtain Proposals from parties wishing to provide the Forest Road Construction and Maintenance Services, as needed to help build and maintain BC Hydro’s system across the province of British Columbia. The Work generally includes the following categories: main roadworks, water crossing installations, track road, equipment pad, and pole liner Installations, and helicopter pad installations.

BC Timber Sales is seeking a contractor to deliver 4Km of forest road construction and 3Km of reconstruction services along the TS120-057 Forest Service Road and associated spurs within the Strait of Georgia Business Area near Sayward, British Columbia. The work includes large amounts of end haul, the installation of major culverts and other drainage structures, bridges, construction of specified large fills and engineered sections.

The Works are in the BC Timber Sales Seaward-tlasta Vancouver Island operating areas, including Holberg, Port Hardy, Port McNeill, Vernon Lake, and Mahatta.

The proposed contract includes road and bridge maintenance, reactivation, reconstruction deactivation, brushing, and other maintenance activities on BCTS FSRs. Works may include the installation and removal of Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) Culverts, Wood Box Culverts (WBC), and bridges, hauling of spoils, development of rip rap and other road material, drilling and blasting of road construction material, brushing and grading of active FSRs and other maintenance activities. Works may occur on roads not managed by BCTS for the purpose of access to timber development.

1.8 km of reactivation, consisting of light brushing is required before the start of construction. The Doc Creek Major Works project, located approximately 35 km southeast of Shearwater, BC. Access to this remote location is limited to boat and aircraft, requiring barging of all equipment and supplies. Road access to the start of work is on a rough road with drive time of approximately 2 hours from camp to back. The project primarily involves the deactivation of approximately 26km of road. This includes brushing, ditching, culvert and bridge maintenance, and signage. Road maintenance, if required is limited to the extent required to facilitate road deactivation activities. The contractor is responsible for maintaining roads to facilitate safe access.

This Request for Supplier Qualifications is an invitation by the District of Squamish to prospective respondents to qualify for eligibility to provide Paradise Valley Bailey Bridge Abutment Construction.

The Paradise Valley Bailey Bridge serves as the sole road access to residences in Paradise Valley, approximately 17km north of downtown Squamish. The bridge was constructed in the 1980’s and the District’s retained structural engineering consultant (WSP Canada Inc.) found that the bridge’s existing crib abutment walls are deteriorating and recommended that both abutments be repaired to minimize the risk of failure. WSP has now completed engineering analysis and prepared a design for repair of the abutments.
